H.E. Mr. Vitor Ng, Chairman of Macao Foundation,Macao, China

Mr. Ng was born in Shunde, Guangdong Province in 1930.  In 1960, he moved to Macau to do business and has been a prominent businessman a politician ever since.  He was a member of the Legislative Assembly and remained a member for six consecutive terms from 1984-2001.  After retiring from the Legislature, he was nominated President of the Macau Foundation, which was created to promote, develop and do research on cultural, social, economic, educational, scientific, academic and philanthropic activities in Macau.  Mr. Ng is also a member of the Macau Economic Council, the Vice President of the Macau China Chamber of Commerce, the President of the Macau Import Export Chamber of Commerce, the Executive Director of the Macau World Trade Center, and the Chairman of the Board of the Macau Container Terminal Co., Ltd.
