The 2015-2016 Asia Foreign Study Scholarship admission has successfully come to an end. 9 students from Tajikistan, Pakistan, Turkey, Mongolia and other countries have got the scholarship. The Asia Foreign Study Scholarship Program was first proposed by Li Wan, then the secretary-general of China Scholarship Council, at the 2004 Education Forum for Asia Annual Conference. It was set up to encourage the exchange of students and scholars across Asia, promote mutual understanding among Asian countries, and enhance overall education quality and education cooperation in the region. Up to now, we have received a total donation of 311 scholarships from more than twenty institutions including Macao Foundation, Peking University, Shandong University, Sichuan University, Hunan Normal University, Capital Normal University,Capital University of Economics and Business. This year, Macao Foundation, Beijing Technology and Business University, Capital University of Economics and Business, Capital Normal University, Peking University HSBC School of Business have provided 50 scholarships for nonChinese students. Courses available include undergraduate courses, postgraduate courses, doctorial courses, Chinese language courses and other refresher courses. The Asia Foreign Study Scholarship Award Ceremony will be held at the 2015 Education Forum for Asia Annual Conference.
