The 2013 Education Forum for Asia Annual Conference will be held from October 24-27, 2013 in Chengdu City during the 14th Western China International Fair. This years event will be hosted by Chinese National Commission for UNESCO, National Center for Education Development Research, Chengdu Municipal Government, Sichuan Bureau of Expo Affairs, Education Department of Sichuan Province, and will be organized by Education Forum for Asia, Chengdu Bureau of Expo Affairs, and Chengdu Education Bureau. The theme of this year's conference is “Green Education and Sustainable Development.

The development of education has a great impact on the national prosperity, its citizens wellbeing and the future of the country. Therefore, it’s the common goal for all educators to maximize the utilization of study materials and equalize the distribution of education resources.   

The initiators of the EFA, education ministers from all over the world, ambassadors, specialists and experts, international organizations, global corporations, education institutions, media representatives will attend this years conference and discuss matters involving topics like education and the development of urbanization, ecological education, education charity, art education, vocational education, private education, early childhood education, and media education etc. Activities held during the same period are Dujiangyan International Forum, the Exhibition of the International Education Innovations and Achievements (refer to the Attachment), the 8th Asian Student’s Photography Exhibition, the Award Ceremony of Asian International Student Scholarship, and field trip to the top universities in Chengdu city. 

The Education Forum for Asia marks its 10th anniversary of its initiation in 2013.
