This farm school for women was established in 1998, with a focus of providing consulting information, professional training, and other supporting services to women living in rural areas. The core goals of the school are to help rural women to discover their full potential, to exercise human rights as a farmer, and to achieve the best outcomes in their personal lives. To attain these goals, the school takes a variety of actions. First, it provides strong support to rural women in realizing their selfdevelopment. Second, it monitors the living conditions of these women in order to provide them with equivalent lifelong education and professional training. Third, it increases the mobility of female migrants, meanwhile improving their living standards and legitimizing their human and labor rights. Finally, the school utilizes the media to exer influence on optimizing social resources and progressing the reform of outdated policy.
