In order to keep pace with the development of China’s secondary international education, to promote international cooperation and exchange on China’s secondary education, to adapt to the realities of a knowledge-based economy, and to meet the demands placed on China after becoming a member of the WTO, the Foundation College of the China Scholarship Council and the Educational Mechanism Sub-commission of the CSE co-organized the Education Forum for Asia-Forum on International Education and Bilingual Education in High Schools.
Delegates at this year’s forum celebrated the successes that China has made in the realm of bilingual education in recent years. In addition, they aimed to optimize the English learning environment, promote the implementation of bilingual education, and popularized effective bilingual instruction methods. An agreement signing ceremony was also held during the session, marking the establishment of the Secondary International Education Program. |
