Dear Delegates:

In order to make your experience as pleasant as possible during the 2017 Chengdu Global Innovation and Entrepreneurship Summit of Elite Universities, which is held in the Chengdu Century City New International Convention and Exhibition Center. Chengdu, the Organizing Committee wishes to inform you of the following items:

1.Pickup and See-off

(1)Time of pickup and Time of see-off will be arranged according to your flight information.

(2)Locations of pickup and see-off

Airplane: Exits of the Domestic and Foreign Arrivals Hall in Chengdu Shuangliu

International Airport. There will be conference representatives holding pickup signs (Blue sign with “2017 Chengdu Global Innovation and Entrepreneurship Summit of Elite Universities” on it.) at the exits who will guide you to the special cars used by the conference.

Location of see-off: Registration desk in the lobbies of the Holiday Inn Chengdu Century City/ Intercontinental Hotels and Resorts.

2.Registration

(1)Time:

9:00~24:00, May 9th 2017

(2)Place:

The Registration Desk located in the Lobby on the first floor of the Holiday Inn Chengdu Century City-WestTower, (208 West Tower, Century City Blvd. Chengdu, Sichuan)

(3)Procedure:

Information Confirm→Receive Conference Materials and Representative Badges →Receive Room cards and Check in (Passport, ID Card and Deposit are Needed)

(4)The hotels assigned by the Organizing Committee: Holiday Inn Chengdu Century City/ Intercontinental Hotels and Resorts

(5)Information on venues

Venue: Chengdu Century City New International Convention and Exhibition Center(the Venue is very close to the hotels assigned)

3.Timeline

(1)The food is served at the hotels assigned by the Organizing Committee, the coupons you receive during registration is the only identification for entering dining. Please keep it with you at all times. etc.; any dining expenses out of the conference schedule will not be paid for by the Organizing Committee.

(2)The Organizing Committee will arrange the rooms according to the sequence of registration; if you have any special needs, please inform the Committee in advance. 

(3)If you continue to stay in the hotel after 12:00 on May 11th , you are responsible for all related charges. 

(4)With respect to other items that you should pay attention to, please observe the relevant regulations of the hotel you stay in. 

4.Reminders

(1)Temperature of Chengdu in late May is as follows: the average highest temperature in the day is between 25 to 30 degree centigrade, the temperature in the night will drop to around 10 to 13 degree centigrade. 

(2)Dress Code: all participants should wear formal clothing during the conference and banquet. One could wear casual clothes during outdoor activities, sightseeing and any informal banquets outside the hotel. 

(3)The dialing code for Chengdu area is 028. International/domestic telephone and voice mail services are available in all the rooms, you are responsible for any fees incurred; for more information, please consult hotel reception. 

(4)Laundry Fees and expenses caused by drink, food, telephone, internet and other services should be paid by oneself. 

(5)All the hotel rooms offer free high speed internet service.
