After that he received a doctoral degree in history at Nanjing University. In 1992, he began to work as a member of the management committee of the Macao Foundation after his membership in it. The Macau Development and Cooperation Foundation merged with Macau Foundation and became the new Macau Foundation in 2001, then Victor Ng became the Executive Commission Member, and since July, 2010, he has been the Chairman of the Executive Commission. Now he is the member of the Talent Development Committee, Director of Macao Society for Public Administration, Chairman of the Macao Scholars Alliance, Vice-Director of Chinese Association of Hongkong and Macau Studies and Vice-Director of Chinese Society for Historians of China’s Foreign Relations. Meanwhile, he also works as the Visiting Professor at Macau University, Macau University of Science and Technology and Beijing Foreign Studies University.

教育部语文出版社社长、教育部前新闻发言人 王旭明，现为教育部语文出版社社长，国家语委语言文字 报刊社社长。曾任教育部办公厅副主任兼新闻办公室主任、新 闻发言人。 王旭明任职语文出版社社长后，一直致力于在出版、教 育、培训等领域提高国民语文能力。他倡导反思和批评当今中 国语文教育之现状，并提出语文课程一定要培养学生自然而健 康的表达习惯，自由而个性的心理品质以及独立而创造的人格 特征。针对中国语文教学状况，王旭明从2012年开始提出并在 全国推广真语文活动，引起广泛关注。他还担任了语文出版社语文教材修订版主编。 WANG Xuming President of the Language & Culture Press Co., Ltd, Former Spokesman of Ministry of Education Wang Xuming is the President of the Language & Culture Press Co., Ltd. and the President of the Language Press Agency under the National Language Committee. Previously, he was the Deputy Director of the General Office, Director of the Press Office, as well as the spokesman of the Ministry of Education. Since Wang's time in charge of the Language & Culture Press, he has been devoting his efforts to improving the language ability of citizens in the field of publishing, education, and training. He has advocated reflection and criticism about the present situation of Chinese education, and supported that the Chinese language curriculum must cultivate students’ natural and healthy expression habits, liberal and individualized psychological qualities, and independent and creative personality characteristics. Wang proposed and promoted the activity of True Chinese Education nationwide since 2012, which have been extensively discussed by Chinese society and has been brought to the public’s attention. He also acts as the editor-in-chief of the Chinese textbook revision of LCP.
王嘉鹏
世界联合学院中国国家理事会理事长 男，世界联合学院录取的第一位中国大陆留学生，在挪 威，人们都称他“中国英雄”。 12岁时身受重伤，双下肢截 瘫，只有小学文化程度的他在母亲的帮助下自学完成了大学英 语课程，并于1998年考取了设在挪威的世界联合学院全额奖 学金，成为该校录取的第一位中国大陆留学生。1999年 ，他 参加第36届国际残疾人滑雪比赛，获得了两枚金牌。代表作 为《我不是懦夫》,选自他的自传《撑起生命的蓝天----空难与 我》, 挪威奥斯陆大学政治学、经济学双硕士,曾历任多家跨国 公司的高管职务。 Mark WANG Director of China' s State Council of United World College Mark Wang was a passenger aboard China Northwest Airlines Flight 2119 from Yinchuan to Beijing on July 23, 1993. His spinal column was severely injured when the aircraft failed to get airborne and crashed into a lake. As a result, he was paralyzed from the waist down. Because of his injuries he was moved to Beijing Rehabilitation and Research Center (BRRC) in September 1993. At the time, BRRC and Sunnaas Hospital in Oslo, Norway had established a cooperation program, and a tour of BRRC's facilities in Beijing was included in Queen Sonja of Norway's royal visit to China. As a patron of Red Cross Nordic United World College (RCNUWC), Queen Sonja donated a scholarship to BRRC which was subsequently awarded to Mark Wang. While a student at Red Cross Nordic United World College, Mark Wang befriended the Norwegian marathon runner and disabled rights activist Ketil Moe. Through collaborative efforts, they were able to establish the Beijing Marathon for the Disabled in 1998. While at the United World College, Mark Wang also wrote an autobiography titled Hold up the Blue Sky of Life. This autobiography became a best-seller in China, and became the basis of an 18-installment CCTV produced TV-series about his life. In the 2008 Beijing Olympics, Mark Wang was selected as a carrier in the Olympic torch relay.
