“一带一路”职业教育国际论坛邀请函

尊敬的        ：

　　经政府有关部门批准，中华职业教育社、中国教育国际交流协会和亚洲教育北京论坛主办，保定市人民政府、雄安新区管理委员会承办的“一带一路”职业教育国际论坛将于2023年12月19日—21日在河北保定雄安新区行行， 会议的主题是：服务共建“一带一路”，提升职业教育的适应性与现代化。

　　今年是共建“一带一路”倡议提出十周年。在刚刚落幕的第三届“一带一路”国际合作高峰论坛中，中国国家主席习近平指出，中国将“通过鲁班工坊等推进中外职业教育合作”，为“一带一路”职业教育国际合作翻开了新的篇章。

　　届时，我们将邀请中外国家领导人、教育部长、多国驻华使节、职业教育界知名专家学者，以及院校、企业代表等出席活动，参会嘉宾约600位。本次论坛的主要活动包括开幕式、主论坛和平行分论坛，会议期间还将举办“一带一路”国际合作优秀案例成果发布会、中华传统文化展演及合作项目推介对接交流等活动。

　　千年前，大漠黄沙、孤独荒凉的丝路正是因为有了张骞的踏足，才有了热情和温度，才有了陆上“使者相望于道，商旅不绝于途”和海上“舶交海中，不知其数”的繁荣景象。今天，我们期待以职业教育助力“一带一路”高质量发展，再创繁华盛景。我们诚邀您出席本次论坛活动，期待共同开启“一带一路”职业教育国际交流合作的新十年。本次会议不收取任何参会费用，交通食宿敬请自理。为便于大会组织筹备工作，请于12月2日前参会确认。联系人：傅腾、叶子：010-68909380。

主办机构简介

　　中华职业教育社是由中国著名教育家、实业家黄炎培先生联合一批教育界、实业界知名人士于1917年5月6日在上海创立的具有百年历史的社会团体。中华职业教育社是联合国公共信息部联系的非政府组织成员,并且具有联合国经社理事会咨商地位。主要工作有：进行理论研究、向政府建言献策、指导学校办学、社会服务、对外交流等。中华职业教育社充分利用民间组织的独特优势，与联合国及其它影响较大的国际非政府组织加强交流与联系，通过举办国际研讨会以及组织中外院校合作洽谈等形式，为推动教育事业的发展进步，加强我国与世界各国的民间友好交往积极努力。

　　中国教育国际交流协会于1981年7月成立，业务主管部门为教育部，1991年由民政部批准为中国教育界开展民间对外教育合作与交流的全国性组织。协会总部设在北京，秘书处是常设办事机构。

　　亚洲教育北京论坛是由博鳌亚洲论坛、联合国教科文组织、中国国家留学基金管理委员会共同发起，2003年底由博鳌亚洲论坛理事长拉莫斯等七位来自菲律宾、尼泊尔、哈萨克斯坦、韩国、新西兰等国家和地区领导人倡议建立的。论坛日益成为亚太区域内各国教育官员、专家学者、各级院校、国际组织、企业交流与探讨合作与发展的高端平台。

Invitation to the Belt and Road International Forum on Vocational Education

The “Belt and Road” International Forum on Vocational Education, approved by relevant government departments, hosted by China Vocational Education Association, China Education Association for International Exchange and Education Forum for Asia, and organized by Baoding Municipal People's Government and Xiong'an New Area Management Committee, with the theme of ‘Serving Belt and Road Cooperation and Enhancing the Adaptability and Modernization of Vocational Education’, will be held in Xiong'an New Area, Baoding City, Hebei Province from December 19th to 21st, 2023.

This year marks the 10th anniversary of the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI). At the just-concluded The Third Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation, Chinese President Xi Jinping pointed out that China will ‘enhance vocational education cooperation through Luban Workshops and other initiatives’, opening a new chapter for Belt and Road international cooperation in vocational education.

We are delighted to extend our warm invitation to political figures, heads of international organizations, ambassadors to China, renowned experts and scholars working in vocational education, and representatives from colleges, universities and enterprises. The number of the guests is estimated to be approximately 600. The main activities of this forum include an opening ceremony, a main forum and several parallel forums. In the meanwhile, we will release outstanding cases of Belt and Road cooperation, hold Performance of Chinese traditional culture and interactive sessions for cooperative projects.    

Over two thousand years ago, Zhang Qian traveled through the yellow sands and opened up the Silk Road, bringing warmth and vitality to the desolate deserts, and creating bustling scenes of ‘envoys and merchants jostling one another.’ Today we are looking forward to rebuilding the harbor of friendship through vocational education and recreating the prosperity of ‘numerous ships calling at ports.’ We sincerely invite you to attend this forum and jointly opening a new decade of international exchanges and cooperation in vocational education along the ‘Belt and Road’. Brief Introduction of Organizers

China Vocational Education Association (CVEA) was founded in Shanghai on May 6, 1917 by Mr. Huang Yanpei, a famous Chinese educator and industrialist together with personages from the fields of education and industry. CVEA is a member of the non-governmental organization contacted by the United Nations Department of Public Information and has a consultative status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council. The main work includes: theoretical research, suggestions to the government, guidance to schools, social services, foreign exchanges and so on.  CVEA gets the utmost of the unique advantages of a non-governmental organization, strengthening exchanges and contacts with the United Nations and other international non-governmental organizations with high impact. And through holding international seminars and organizing cooperation talks between Chinese and foreign institutions, CVEA promotes the development and progress of education and strengthens friendly exchanges between China and other countries in the world on the non-governmental level.

China Education Association for International Exchange was established in July 1981 under the administration of the Ministry of Education. In 1991, it was approved by the Ministry of Civil Affairs as a national organization for non-governmental foreign education cooperation and exchange in the Chinese educational sector. The headquarters of the association is located in Beijing, and the secretariat is a permanent office. The Exchange Association strives to cooperate with the overall situation of national diplomacy and the work deployment of the Ministry of Education to promote the continuous improvement of the international influence of China's vocational education.

Education Forum for Asia was jointly initiated by Boao Forum for Asia, UNESCO and the China Scholarship Council, and was established at the end of 2003 on the initiative of the Chairman of  Boao Forum for Asia and leaders from the Philippines, Kazakhstan, South Korea, Nepal, New Zealand and other countries and regions. The Forum has increasingly become a high-end platform for education officials, experts and scholars, universities at all levels, international organizations and enterprises in the Asia-Pacific region to exchange and discuss cooperation and development.

During these forums, exchanges and discussions will take place among government officials, local and international vocational education specialists, and representatives of enterprises and academic institutions. The dialogue will be centered around key issues pertaining to the BRI. This includes the vital part vocational education plays in fostering mutual understanding and promoting socio-economic development, as well as the responsibilities and roles of all parties involved in these collaborative efforts.

During this event, we will release the outstanding case selection for “Chinese Vocational Education Going Global—A Decade of Vocational Education Cooperation in Building the Belt and Road Initiative”.

Content: All parties will engage in in-depth exchanges on topics such as the role vocational education plays in building the economy, promoting employment, and talent training. The discussion will also seek to identify potential and directions for future collaboration, with an aim towards actively promoting cooperation.

Content: Explore and inspect the development of the Xiong’an New Area. Interact and communicate with high-level technical talents from the field of vocational education at the Comprehensive Service Center located in the start-up area and the construction site of the International Trade Center project. Experience the significant contribution of vocational education in facilitating the construction and development of the Xiong’an New Area.

Content: Take a tour of the display panels related to the integration of production and education as well as school-enterprise cooperation, observe production workshops and sample vehicle exhibitions, interact with highly skilled technical talents from vocational education, and experience firsthand how vocational education supports enterprise development.
